Buying a Used Car or New – Research the Market

Posted by admin On July - 30 - 2010

Wasting thousands of dollars to buy new and used car is not a new trend unless people don’t actually care for their profit. There are thousands of complaints against the car and still the market doesn’t lose its normal flow. The flaw lies on your mind, you never think twice before getting impressed by an advertisement. People get attracted in brand names and the rest depends on the other components of the automobile market. The marketing strategy is not the single culprit in this conspiracy, but consider from the very beginning: car manufacturers, dealership owners and finance companies- all of them shares the same responsibility for this mess.

Advertisement never thinks much for the audience indeed they draw credits on their stylish lie. Their utter most interest is on escalating profit for their clients. On the other hand, car dealers spend millions to advert the products.  Car companies invest to create and in consequence persuade the buying, financing and trade their products- to achieve a single target- profit. The result finally, goes wrong for the last one of the list- the buyers. They face problem and again, changing the car stands as the only solution for them.

In addition, finance companies play a very important role in the market. They have contradiction in what they say and what they do. People find them in mess when they opt a scheme when they find out the scheme has changed rigorously after some of the monthly payments. The complex interest system is another reason to bother about. It had happened with many people that they have actually paid almost the same as a new car for a used car payment.

To avoid the above mentioned trouble, our suggestion is to research the market thoroughly before you invest. It doesn’t matter whether you are buying a used car or a brand new car but fix everything before you buy.

Tips to prevent a car accident

Posted by admin On July - 29 - 2010

A recent Long Island news says that a tractor-trailer has got an accident in the middle of the road of Wantagh State Parkway. The news is not an unusual one. What was interesting in it is as follows: the truck crashed with three more supercars that were supposed to deliver for the Racing Summer Tours. News of car accident is a regular scenario of our daily life. We sometimes cannot avoid accidents yet can take precautions to be more careful to live safe.

It is wise to avoid fast lanes. The problem occurs when you want to change the lane and most of left lane is the most happening place to have an accident. Moreover, highway portals are more conspicuous if you drive through fast lane.

Don’t just scan the road ahead indeed try to key an eye on the overall view of the road. You would get more time to enact if any problem occurs.

Use your side mirror as well as rearview mirror to keep track of the behind scenario as well as keep looking back to cover those events that are not covered by the mirrors.

To control your vehicle pace handle the gears properly. Instead of driving with one hand in a lazy way use your two hands in a 3 and 9 o’clock position.

Move your seat toward to steering wheel so that your wrist can hold the wheel in a relax mode. It helps to avoid some last minutes evasive incidents.

Keep an eye on the other drivers and judge them by their behaviors and attitudes. Get away from them who look drunken, use cell phones while driving or looks tired. Untidy drivers are the most dangerous creeps on road.

Check for the condition of your car properly before you start.

Fruity tire for a healthy drive

Orange to make tires- does it sound new? Yokohama produces exactly that you have just read! The struggle was from old past to extract something from grown fresh plants to replace plastics made out of petroleum that are used to make a vehicle; of course in an easiest and cheapest way. It now has touched the reality with the “orange oil” by Yokohama. The product is just geared out from the leftovers of the fruit that remains from your orange juice on the breakfast table. We sometime use it to clean and fragrance the households.

Yokohama however, doesn’t make any compromise with their new launch. They use high quality citrus oil which is the primary component of limonene, a compound of citrus group. Citrus tires are available now in two models only by the company:  the first one is Advan ENV-R2 which is a race tire, modelled for the GT3 Challenge; a car sponsored by Yokohama and the second one is a passenger tire designed for the fuel-efficient compacts and hybrids named as dB Super E-spec. The claim is that the orange oil tread has a dubbed Super Nano-Power Rubber Compound, a rubber which has an excellent rolling capacity with less resistance power. The viscosity of the oil changes with temperature and speed according to the need- another amazing characteristic of the compound.

The argument is that the passenger tire has the capacity to save 80% petroleum that a conventional tire. The tire is consumed with a high quantity of natural rubber in its tread compound that is one of the primary elements of its mass. It’s the time to be happy! It’s again a chance to drive green!

The New York State Department has sureveyed that car crashes are increasing day in and out especially for teen drivers. So to ensure more safety there are some safety laws regarding permit, age, seating arrangements and other important facets.

There was a major change in the New York Graduate License  Law this year February 22nd. If you are a junior driver and want to move along with your car or drive a cab in Long Island, there are ceratin rules that you have to abide by. Almost 50 United States has an age restriction of at least 16 years to obtain a license. At times even those who have not attained the age of 18 years are not given the license to drive. If a teenager gets a driver permit to drive in Long Island, he or she is restricted when it comes to taking in underage passengers.

Often people come another state to reside in Long Island and so they would require to register their cars. This can be done within 30 days after you become a resident. The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) website or a local DMV to get a form.  Get all your documents handy such as:

  • A proof of your car ownership
  • Odometer as well as damage disclosure statements
  • Your New York State Insurance Identification Card. You can even get a copy of this document.
  • Your identity as well as date of birth proof.

Next in the line comes filling up the MV-82 – Vehicle Registration/Title Application. Here one will need documents such as sales tax payment proof. After you have completed the form, go to the local DMV. You can pay them in cash, cheque, credit cards or even money order. Once this is done, a DMV clerk will give you vehicle plates along with a registration sticker. They will also give you a valid registartion document that you need to carry whenever you are driving your new car or even a used car across Long Island.
