What propelled Chrysler Automobiles to a recognition was The Thomas Special that reminisces the essence of 1950 renaissance.  Chrysler has been winning accolades galore for their high end engineering and adding a dash if style to the vehicles.

Chrysler style was most poignant in Fiat coaches and this extended to the European cars that have been most sought after in the world since ages. What made Chrysler come in news were “Idea Cars” and Thomas Special was one of theircraetive productions. This idea task was levied on Italy’s Carrozzeraia Ghia to giva shape to coachwork idea alongwith Hemi V8 engines. This three-passenger special car had a curtain raiser in Paris in1952. Enhuberance, beauty and elegance dominated Thomas Special over the years. Specially handcrafted by experts has made it fit into the realm of classicism.

The James Bond car is so synonymous with some very interesting gimmicks. This Bond Car- Aston Martin is now in a dilapidated condition with its special ejector seats and other worn-out gadgets. Bond fans were a bit taken aback as they did not anticipate this fabled car like this. This iconic Aston Martin DB5 is now making its way to a charity i.e the Jerry Lee Foundation and the auction will take place in London very soon this year.

This car was driven by Sean Connery in ‘Goldfinger’ as well as in ‘Thunderball’ in the late 1960s. The car kind of accentuated the Bond personality in those classic adventures that took our breath away! Aston Martin is a rare piece and is the most coveted Bond elements. Dating back to 1960s, the car came from Aston Martin and was bought by American radio DJ Jerry Lee for $12,000. Ever since 1969 Mr Lee was its master and now he is planning to sell it to the charity. It has been estimated that bidding would reach a whopping 3.5 million GBP. This car will be auctioned by the famous RM Auctions and Sotheby’s.

American Motors AMX – Forgotten American Muscle

In 1968 the American Motors Corporation made a sudden 180 degree turn from their usual line of family style vehicles and officially entered into the muscle car market place. The 1968 AMX was born, and it went head to head with the already proven, asphalt stomping Corvette. This was quite an undertaking, as the company was not a large producer of autos in the first place. Although coming up short in the end against the Corvette, the car was undoubtedly a very potent contender.
