Porsche Cayenne is not the typical Porsche sports car. Check out this car review to learn more about this great car that has been an attention seeker since a long time. Rather it is the perfect SUV by Porsche and a great alternative to sports car lovers. The Porsche Cayenne has different models at present before it gets a new design. The Porsche Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne S Hybrid, Cayenne Turbo and prices differ from $45,000 to over $100,000.

The standard Cayenne has a 3.6 litre V6 engine, generating 300hp and torque of 295 lb-ft. You can get an optional Tiptromic transmission instead of the standard being six-speed manual. The Cayenne catches a top speed of 142mph and 0-60 mph in 7.1 seconds. The Cayenne S has a 4.8 litre V8 engine with an automatic transmission and generating 400hp and maximum torque of 369 lb-ft. Cayenne S can accelerate from 0-60mph in 5.8 seconds.

The standard Cayenne comes with 17inch alloy wheels, heated side mirrors, fog lamps, both front and rear, cruise control, a power tailgate, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, eight-way power front seats, a CD player with 12 speaker sound system and leather upholstery. The Cayenne S has a driver memory functions, dual-zone automatic climate control and 18-inch wheels.

The twin-turbo engine of Turbo comes with 4.8 litre enhanced V8 engine from GTS. The Direct Fuel Injection engine delivers 500hp and a maximum torque of 516 lb-ft. Top speed is 172 mph and it can sprint 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds. The speciality of the Cayenne Turbo is a height adjustable air suspension and reaches 19inch wheels, the adaptive and automatic bi-xenon headlights.

The body kit is however not similar and the Turbo comes with a new touchscreen internal electronic interface, parking assist, heated seat for both front and rear. A drive-based navigation system is present in the Turbo, plus a 14 speaker BOSE surround sound system with luxurious leather upholstery. The entire Cayenne has a full-length curtain airbags, front-seat side too. There is stability control and a rollover sensor.

The redesigned Cayenne is perfect SUV even in its last year but they are one of the less desired among other SUVs. The Mercedes Benz M Class and BMW X6 M are more preferable than Porsche in comparison to the fuel economy. Yet none comes near to the sporty effect of Porsche. The BMW is the only car that gives competition to Cayenne Turbo in the market.
