The James Bond car is so synonymous with some very interesting gimmicks. This Bond Car- Aston Martin is now in a dilapidated condition with its special ejector seats and other worn-out gadgets. Bond fans were a bit taken aback as they did not anticipate this fabled car like this. This iconic Aston Martin DB5 is now making its way to a charity i.e the Jerry Lee Foundation and the auction will take place in London very soon this year.
This car was driven by Sean Connery in ‘Goldfinger’ as well as in ‘Thunderball’ in the late 1960s. The car kind of accentuated the Bond personality in those classic adventures that took our breath away! Aston Martin is a rare piece and is the most coveted Bond elements. Dating back to 1960s, the car came from Aston Martin and was bought by American radio DJ Jerry Lee for $12,000. Ever since 1969 Mr Lee was its master and now he is planning to sell it to the charity. It has been estimated that bidding would reach a whopping 3.5 million GBP. This car will be auctioned by the famous RM Auctions and Sotheby’s.

Don Rose, the American chaperone of the car voiced his opinion to Reuters, “Aston Martin is more than just a car, it’s a cultural icon…. I cannot think of an object more widely known and desired around the world, from the media age, than this particular car”.
Like other relics from the past, Aston Marin has an elevated place in the cinematic fraternity. With its outlandish behavior, this Bond car has carved a startegic niche and has proved the rich imagination spree of British Cinema during the 1960s.
