The Real Bumblebee - "Roll Out!"
The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro has barely been seen in public, but the special edition based on the "Bumblebee" character seen in
the Transformers 2: Rise of the Fallen movie is already out.
It's only been a couple of months and the 2010 Camaro has outsold the Ford Mustang, its closest domestic competitor.
Product placement in the recent Transformers 2 movie and internet buzz has created a rather sizeable interest in the Camaro for
GM currently in the midst of bankruptcy. Aside from movie promotions, GM spent no dollars towards pushing this model and it did
well. Can it keep this up all year?
The Bumblebee vehicle character in Transformers 2 received an appearance upgrade this second tine around on the big screen. In
the first transformers movie it was just a concept car.
The real-life 2010 Camaro Bumblebee will get the yellow paint and body kit add-ons. Also, if the buzz is accurate, some
interesting one of a kind wheel design as well as possibly Transformers logos.
Here are some of the specs for the Bumblebee model upgrade soon to Roll Out!
- 0-60 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds
- 6.2 liter V8
- 3,860 lb curb weight
- 426 horsepower @ 5900 RPM
- 420 lb-ft of torque @ 4200 rpm
- Rear wheel drive
- Special custom body kit
- Bumblebee (Transformers) graphics & interior package
