The beauty of selling a car is that anyone, anywhere is able to do it. Young, old, male, female, there really are no rules as to who can sell a car.
No formal training or schooling is required to enter this sales field. Not for the timid, many people have entered this area, and have turned right back
around and left. The rewards are great, but so too are the risks. It definitely takes a special person to sell cars full time for a living.
The car dealership, either new, used, or both, is the typical place to find a full time car salesman. These guys and gals are the real deal, the pros. While
most are honest, be aware around these people until you get a good feel for them.
Remember, their bottom goal is to sell you a car. No matter how, rather
now than later, just sell that car. Some of the shadier ones in the business will use unorthodox car selling tactics. More pressure than necessary, ploys
to keep you at the facility until the deal is made, etc. This is how used car salesmen get the bad reputation we all know about. Thankfully, in recent
years, people selling cars have elevated themselves above that level.
If you look in the mirror, you will see another person perfectly qualified to sell a car. That's right. You and I are, and have been, car sales people.
Very rare is it to run across someone who hasn't sold at least one car in their lifetime. Some do it more than others, but sometime along the way, we all
will become someone who is selling a car. Do it as honestly as you can, and don't join the bad reputation ranks of a car salesman.
Bosses, co-workers, friends, relatives, and the professionals. As long as there are cars available for ownership, everyone can sell a car.
Pick and choose
who you deal with, and you will keep going back to the same person who is selling a car. Remember, their bottom goal is to sell you a car.
