Have you noticed the sky rocketing prices at the pump in the past year? Of course you have, we all have! When is it all going to end? It probably isn't, we here in the U.S. are probably in for a "crude" awakening. Those who live in other countries such as Holland, Denmark, and many others think that our gasoline and crude oil prices are low. That being said, we're probably in this for the long run.
From the gas pump, to the daily standard of living, everything is going up in price. Going to the grocery store was a trip you could enjoy over a year ago, but now for many people out there, it just brings feelings of anxiety. Questions like: "how am I going to afford to buy groceries for my family?", always come to surface. Well, as Americans, we always find ways to get past the barrier that will try and get in our way of good. What we really need to do is, we need to re-evaluate the things that mean the most to us. People need to ask themselves what is the smarter, more economical option. There are ways that we can beat this obstacle, but we just need more of a sensible plan in order to do so.
Besides the gas prices, prices are going up everywhere. Products in grocery stores are high because of the transportation of goods. School fees are higher because of more transportation funding from transporting our children to and from school, along with sporting events to and from school. Anything that correlates with transportation, you could guarantee the prices will rise.
A simple plan to cut fuel prices is by cutting its demand. So leading by example, would mean you should cut from taking trips that are not really necessary. This will create gasoline staying in your gas tank longer, which will then create making less trips to the pump. The more people that take part of this routine, will then effect the oil business. So for example, plan your trips accordingly and strategically for less usage of gasoline. Also, if you can, car pool your children to school, and talk to the other parents about car pooling to sporting events and such. This is a great idea, and it is almost guaranteed that others will agree on it.
Even though there are things that will help us a little bit, there has to be more done, and as Americans, we need to stand together. Whether you make $150,000 or $14,000 a year, we are all feeling the effects of the high crude oil prices. So re-think your way of thinking and maybe we can send a striking message to those who are neglectful of our suffering.
