Hyundai Genesis

Review Of Hyundai Genesis

The Hyundai Genesis was originally introduced in 2007, and it officially hit the sales lots with the 2009 year model. It is a sporty full-sized sedan, with one of three different engine levels: 3.3L V6, 3.8L V6, or 4.6L Tau V8. It is a rear wheel drive car that comes with eight airbags. The Genesis has includes comfortability while driving, an increased body, wheel control, optimized contact with the surface of the road, and similar technology that is used in Lexus, BMW and Mercedes-Benz models. Hyundai wishes to give consumers a similar model to what it once was in the past, but to also provide a hint of luxury at an affordable rate.

The Genesis includes a Lexicon audio system, that is equipped with XM Satellite Radio navigation unit and a push button start system, and one cool fact about this system is that it has only been used by Rolls-Royce so far. Another addition is the UV reflective leather seating. It eases glare from the sun, so it can stay cooler in sweltering climates. If you live in one of the hotter climates you can appreciate this accessory. The V8 model will come with some extra accessories like heated and cooled seats, back up camera, Bluetooth connectivity, USB auxiliary input jacks for iPod, advanced adaptive cruise control, and a proximity sensor. The Genesis will sell for around $32,250 and has already been slotted to star in the Fast and The Furious 4.

The Genesis will also have high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights. The benefits of having HID headlights, is better lighting, daylight-type lighting, and less power use. In addition, the lines of the new HID headlights are very accurate, which allows the highest night visibility without distracting other drivers. The lights also feature an auto-leveling function which maintains the headlights level, regardless of how the vehicle is loaded with passengers or baggage.

The Genesis has already received extreme praises as the 2009 North American car of the year. Hyundai is already planning a Genesis coupe for 2010 or 2011, and although Hyundai has not confirmed if a hybrid model is in the works, many buyer reports believe it will be in the approaching future.
