Sell A Car And Pay It Forward

Most everyone in their lifetime will have to make the decision to sell a car. For whatever reason, the time has come to move a particular auto down the road. Either the car is sold because another, thriftier model is now in the garage, or the auto has just outlived its usefulness. Aside from the monetary gain of selling a car, the transaction can be of good use for your fellow human being. By being creative, one can use this opportunity to bring a smile to another and greatly benefit them.

The car in question doesn't have to be sold to be put to good use. Most charities, non profit organizations, and churches will gladly take a quality used auto to further accomplish their out reaching goals. Whatever their ministry is, a solid, reliable auto will always help. The work these organizations do is worth more than any dollar figure that is placed on them. Seeing your old car buzzing around town on another mission to help someone in your community will always bring a smile to your face. So, one thing to consider is not to sell your car, but donate it to a worthy cause.

Another good thing to do is to go ahead and sell your car, but instead of pocketing the money, take a portion of that and donate it. If feeling really generous, donate it all. Think of a toy that could be bought for a little one who might not have the opportunity to get one. Or a program in a school that is under funded and will be able to operate for a little while longer. All of this and more is possible thanks to you, and you selling your car. Take it one step further and donate to the cause anonymously and see what great works become of it. Remember, it's all about making a difference for someone.

If your not in a position to sell a car and donate the money to someone or something, consider another alternative. Perhaps you are mechanically inclined and know of a good vehicle that is for sale. Buy the car, put a few items into it to make it rock solid, and donate that car, too. Or if an organization has a car, truck, van, etc. donate your time and expertise and help keep the fleet running. Your good deeds will be appreciated, and who knows, maybe someone else will see your efforts and donate a part of themselves, also. One is not limited to selling a car to help out. Time and skills are very important items to donate to a good cause, too.

The world is full of people who could use a little assistance from time to time. The world is also full of people who are in the position to lend various things, as well. Selling a car and using the money for a cause is just one way of doing this. Do the right thing and pay it forward the best way you can.
