It is more than a little nerve-wracking to ride in a car with a total stranger. But, you do not want them going off in your car alone either. By selling your own car, you are putting yourself in a slightly dangerous situation.

If they drive the car and they still want to buy it, then it is time to discuss prices. Haggling may come naturally to some people, but not to everyone! It can be awkward to discuss prices with someone you have never met before, and you don't want to get taken, but you want them to take the car off your hands!

My husband and I went through this process several times before we finally realized that nobody was going to buy this car from us.
